Ambitions She wants to do her job well, and move up through the ranks, as it were. How far up the ranks is a question even she may not be able to answer. She doesn't want to advance in order to get a higher rank and recognition, rather she would relish the thought that her service was performed well enough to garner such recognition. As such, she doesn't necessarily have her eye on command, but would rather wait to make up her mind as she gets to know what life will be like aboard a starship. She's aware that some might think this means she doesn't have goals, but she would say her intention is to keep her options open, and be able to shift her professional direction, if the need arises.
Hobbies & Interests drawing (when planetside), birding, Scottish History

Personal History Aislinn doesn't have much of a spectacular background. Her parents, Colin and Finola ran a shop in the historical area selling baubles and such to tourists. It had never been a fancy life, but the family store meant that she talked to many strangers. This resulted in her being very outgoing. Living in a city with so much to do meant her parents often found that she couldn't be located. Aislinn loved to explore the city: its cultural and natural sides. She could often be found traversing a local streambed, walking barefoot in the gravel and water, and grabbing handfuls of the substrate to see what bitty critters she could find. She also loved exploring the ancient buildings that still towered over the city: Inverness Castle, St. Andrew's Cathedral, and the Old High Church, to name a few. There are centuries of history here, and she had never felt bored as she grew up.
